What makes a "smart city"?
Practical Technology
Mar 23, 2015 Jason S94

Many people use smartphones, so instead of relying on older methods and technology, smart cities have apps available for public transportation routes, reporting a public works issue, and providing input on future projects. The City of Columbus has an app that includes everything from trash collection dates, submitting a service request, and finding the best place to go on a walk. People are more likely to be engaged is convenient, so cities and governments need to adapt to the tendencies of the people!
