My idea is to create 'Everyday GIS' - geospatial information systems. What I mean by this is to create something that is relatable for people, that maybe they access on a smart phone or tablet, but communicates a stoy. Right now ESRI, for example, is really pushing story maps (http://storymaps.esri.com/home/) as a means by which a story can be published. However, there is still a good bit of programming and back-end technology that is required to do this. Instead - we need to to be able to make realtime stories, with the creators being everyone. This then allows people to communicate what they are doing within the context of their geography and will ultimately yield the ability to understand how everyday action affects those around us and the environment in which we live.
