The use of sensors in our roads let's us know when congestions happen, which path will make us get home sooner or hazards that we may find on the road ahead. But the next step is not for us to react to this feedback but to let our vehicle do it for us. Many of us have used Google Maps or similar apps to calculate the best route from point A to point B. Why not do the same with our vehicles? This would mean a global network of vehicles that communicate with one another and give as a result an optimized use of the transport system (saves fuel consumption, avoids traffic jams, eliminates accidents...).
