In all the places I've lived so far, interaction with government offices has been the biggest drag. No wonder these administrations are so expensive. I would love to see them arrive in the 21st century and make use of technology. I just can't believe that, in an age where I can do all my banking online, I still have to walk to a number of different government buildings, print and fill out whole forests worth of paperwork with information they already have, and wait for months to get a reply to the simplest questions.
I'm convinced that there are tons of opportunities for technology to improve the situation.
