Mostly for power issue it is important to implement smart grid system which is the future of power distribution. For safety most of the places and systems should be connected through security measures like cameras and sensors connected centrally with control centers.
It is better to use cloud robotics with which will be more economic and efficient idea for central controls.
Wireless technology is suffered from hacking and so as the wired system but the cloud system can be made more safer. however it will also be connected wirelessly.
