My idea is to create a simple mobile app which permits citizens to identify, locate and take photos of urban architectural barriers (wich affects the mobility of elderly people, blind, physically disabled, etc.) and then, hang them on a app which works like a google map. At the same time, we could put on the map the places where the architectural barriers have been eliminated.
We can use the app to find routes in our cities free of architectural barriers, which would be useful for people with mobility problems, but at the same time this could be useful for local governments which can use the app's data to detect those problems on an easier way, and they can use it to improve the social policy about pedestrian mobility.
I think it's a way to engage citizens on solve that kind of social problems (maybe a small step, but a beginning at least)
