I love this upcoming project to build the "Low Line" (in contrast to NYC's famous "High Line" park built on an old overground railroad track) -- a park built underground in an abandoned trolley station. It uses solar power and offers an "outdoor" experience during the winter. Not only is this great for citizen morale (and both mental and physical health!) during the cold months, but it's a great push in the right direction of indoor hydroponic community gardens. I would love to see a garden incorporated into this park!
