Name some ways you think crowdsourcing can be used to address urban issues where you live.
Crowdsourcing to pinpoint and alert students of crime
May 15, 2013 Emily T6

In Columbus, especially around the off-campus housing, there are numerous crimes committed and there is an alert system in place to let students know when a serious offense as occurred in the area. With crowdsourcing, it would show a fuller picture of the crimes reported rather than a handful of them. The students would then have access to the time and place of the reports in one place and it would allow them to see trends in the crimes, which could be especially useful when choosing a place to live.
