If/how can gamification influence participation?
Rewards and Returns drive people to participate

I see it on this site with rewards five extra points, tshirts, dedicated office hours, etc. I think making a reward system or something more realistic to a population like a tax credit as a reward for participating in a project or idea that promotes city health, "greenness(if that's a word)", intelligence, productivity, etc. is something that could be a building block for getting people to participate in movements and/or ideas that make cities more pleasant or sustainable
