How would you use RFID's to improve your city?
Analyze origin, route,& travel time of cars in hightraffic areas

If RFIDs were placed into all automobiles, and the readers were placed on light poles, traffic lights, etc., they could be used to track and analyze the vehicles passing by a specific point (especially high traffic areas). The RFIDs would identify where any given vehicle came from, the path it took to get to that point, and how long it took. This information could be sent to local government and planners to help in road improvement and better traffic control.
