Honolulu bus system, The Bus, has GPS

The Honolulu mass transit system currently consists of an extensive bus system. The first leg of a rapid transit train is under construction. The nice thing about The Bus is the buses are equipped with GPS transmitters giving real time location data. With my iPhone and a website I made into an onscreen app called TheBusHEA, I can type in a street intersection or bus stop number, located on every bus stop sign, and get real time data on when each bus that will stop at that location will arrive. The bus is also located on a Google Map. It's very accurate. It's nice because you can walk to another bus stop on a parallel street and catch a bus there arriving earlier. Honolulu has had this for some time, 3-4 years. In Boston they are adding this feature now.
