How can we engage effectively?
Central depository of local data and information
May 12, 2013 Candace B3

Over the years, groups and governments have done swot analysis, capacity building exercises, visioning sessions, 5 year strategies, community mapping exercises, data collection, surveys, baseline data surveys, frameworks and reports for every sector and interest group in our area. The reports sit on the shelves of assorted people in the community and are forgotten. This information needs to be deposited in one location on an ongoing basis for the use of all. The local library could have a special section for this material and it could be made available for download in pdf format from the local government webstie or the library website. Generic capacity building tools and resources could be added so people and groups would know how to go to the next step.
