Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh offers open Technology Labs to kids and teens in a few locations across the city where they can go for free workshops or open time to learn and experiment with video, music and other technologies under a mentor. This way they can shoot film, make music videos, work with DJs and others to narrow down what they want to do career-wise and use their own stories to inspire change in their peers.
