How are people in your city using technology to organize for positive change?
Rec leagues and meetups

It's really not the technology, it's whats on the other side of the technical interaction that makes the positive change. Technology is just the efficient communicator of the desire. Social networks, Craigslist, Meetups, these advertise athletics (kick ball, cycling, softball, etc.) dog adoptions, language groups, all the positive the products of the technological interaction. Example, Franklin County like many places has a dog shelter. And they have a website will pictures of all the dogs and cats that a waiting for adoption. One day I was just looking and found a young cute dog, now it's been 2 years and she's my sweetheart. I saved her and she makes me happy.
