Yes and mostly for the better!

I don't think that anyone could say that technology has not improved how they interact with their cities. For me personally, technology has completely changed how I move through my city in fundamental ways both in my work and my leisure time. For example, sites like Yelp allow me to find not only specific types of local business and establishments but also allows me to read reviews on past experiences and decide whether or not I want to make the visit to the place on question or look for other alternatives. Apps like Taxi magic allow me to hail a nearby taxi from mostly anywhere in the city and Nextbus allows me to preview potential wait times for local bus routes. There have definitely been negatives in these advances as well but overall I feel that technology has made me more informed of city resources that are available to me.
