On April 15, 2013 there was a tragic bombing at the Boston Marathon. Almost instantly pictures and videos of "suspects" started to appear on the web. Was this a good thing? Do you have concerns?
The scifi story "Minority Report" could happen in our future?
Apr 27, 2013 Matteo V

Minority Report is a scifi movie directed by Steven Spielberg in 2001. I'm sure most of you know what's the film about. I think there is a specific limit in what videotapes must be used for, but this limit is still wide unknown. Technology is an helpful instrument to solve crimes and arrest suspects but, at the same time, it interfere seriously with our privacy and everyday life routine. Do you think it's a matter of rules (the law should decide what it is possible to record and use in the court and what is not) or is a matter of civic sense and personal social behavior (everyone should think twice before posting and sharing something about a personal life fact).
