On April 15, 2013 there was a tragic bombing at the Boston Marathon. Almost instantly pictures and videos of "suspects" started to appear on the web. Was this a good thing? Do you have concerns?

Maybe with personal accountability for submissions.

The media does a lot of damage to innocent people from jumping to conclusions from possibly anonymous information, but no one is held accountable at the end.

Accept crowdsourced submissions, but have them be backed by real identities. Moderate the content before releasing any personally identifiable information.

Really, this should be much like current police reports (submit statement, sign a name), but easier to file online.
