On April 15, 2013 there was a tragic bombing at the Boston Marathon. Almost instantly pictures and videos of "suspects" started to appear on the web. Was this a good thing? Do you have concerns?

We tend to remember the successes of any idea, while discounting or forgetting the failures. The first suspects in the bombing turned out to be wrong (Sunil Tripathi, anyone?) as were the first guesses (al Qaeda! Tea Party Extremists!). I think we must develop an innocent until proven guilty ethos for the Web community to balance our attempts to be helpful.
