On April 15, 2013 there was a tragic bombing at the Boston Marathon. Almost instantly pictures and videos of "suspects" started to appear on the web. Was this a good thing? Do you have concerns?

I think its a good thing. It is a great deterrent if criminals know that the possibility of someone watching is high. There is a design concept in neighbourhood planning that tries to minimise "blind spots" in residential planning for a similar reason. We live in an increasingly difficult world where safety and security are big concerns. We made the mess. We've got to fix it or live with the consequences.
