I really appreciate the idea of this topic. Overall public safety should be considered. And here not only public safety is performed but also public awareness on suspects..i vote for this idea.
My idea is just a extension, where all (brutal) criminal photos are stored in at a central point/ hub of all public places(esp transits). Not only the suspects but if any criminals found as per the records it should recognize and send a intimation to the nearest Police control. whereby a appropriate action can be taken. Moreover, any wanted criminals can be tracked easily.
