How can "smart cities" address climate change?
By intensity of interactions & volumes of data and analysis
Mar 22, 2015 Alex A18

Despite the opportunities offered by the web, cities are still great places to create an intensity of interaction leading to cross-fertilisation of ideas and mutual support.

But also this is where life is lived to the extremes, very much the crucible generating a complexity of data and corresponding analysis.

Smart cities are therefore living laboratories and workshops at the cutting edge of generating the sorts of tools and strategies that can enable us to deal with the most intractable global problems.
